I am head over heels in love with Ilocos! Here you get to taste the majestic views care of nature like the Kapurpurawan Rock Formation, well-preserved hispanic sites like the famous Crisologo street of Vigan or the Paoay Church, or thrilling adventures and ride four wheelers across the sand dunes. The Philippines definitely has more to offer than we realize.
My friends and I took this trip from a discount coupon online and relied on the travel guide and itinerary they prepared. We didn’t plan on falling in love with Ilocos because we were just looking for a place we can go to as a group. I didn’t even bring a good camera with me, these are all taken from my phone! It was a generally a good trip but only a little too fast and they didn’t really talk about the places. I would have loved to know more about these sites especially since they hold such a big part of our Filipino history. The region actually has a lot of Unesco World Heritage sites. At least I have reasons to come back!
