It has always been a dream of mine since I was a kid to visit the world’s greatest detective’s home! I’m a true fan – read the books, watched all movies (even Disney’s The Great Mouse Detective), and even the tv series from Cumberbatch’s version with BBC and the one where Watson was played by Lucy Liu in Elementary (which I still find very weird).
So despite the expensive ticket and having to go through the museum alone (since Jamie and Inigo who were travelling with me did not find it as exciting as I did!!) it was still one of the highlights of our London trip. I was no longer just sifting through the pages of Arthur Conan Doyle’s book, felt like I was really in one of the stories.
