May it be New York or London – the parks will be my favorite. Here are our photos in Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens at spring time.
Within Kensington Gardens is the Kensington Palace where you will see some photographs and memorabilia (including clothes!) of the royal family. The palace is probably one of my favorites from our whole London trip since I got to know more about Queen Victoria just like she was a normal person who fell in love with King Albert. The whole South Kensington is considered the “Royal Borough” and I’m not surprised given the area’s beautiful architecture and adjacent garden squares and streets. Really feels like all the rich live there.
Spending a whole day in any of the two parks will not be a waste. Every time I travel, I spend the last day in a quiet and peaceful place where I can just reminisce the past few days. Here in London, we chose to spend our last day in Hyde Park.
First thing that greeted us in Hyde Park.

A whole section was dedicated to Queen Victoria which was very well curated since it was very personal. Quotes taken from her journal were painted on the walls and floor.

My sister Jamie is Peter Pan’s biggest fan. Inside Kensington is a statue to commemorate him as one of England’s famous fictional character.
